About MentalHealthAtlas
MentalHealthAtlas helps people find mental health support and plain answers, in every state. It is free, private, and part of the Disability Atlas family.
What we do
MentalHealthAtlas brings together therapists, counselors, psychiatrists, community mental health centers, crisis services, peer support, and substance use treatment from every state, with plain-language guides and free tools.
Search runs on the Disability Atlas, a national directory of about a million disability services and supports. MentalHealthAtlas is powered by ConnectIDD.
The words we use
We use person-first, everyday words like "people living with depression" and avoid labels. If you prefer other words for yourself, we respect that. We never use words that blame people for their struggles.
